The Backdrop :In the early Meiji era, after participating in the Bakumatsu war as the assassin blade master "Hitokiri Battōsai", Himura Kenshin wanders the countryside of Japan with a reverse edge blade katana, offering protection and aid to those in need as repent for the murders he once committed in war. When he arriving in Tokyo in the 11th year of Meiji (1878), he meets a young woman named Kamiya Kaoru, who is in the middle of a fight with a evil murderer - who claims to be the “Hitokiri Battōsai” - tarnishing the name of the swordsmanship school that she teaches in her home town. Kenshin decides to help her and defeats the fake Battōsai sword master. After she discovering that Kenshin is the real infamous assassin, Hitokiri offers him a place to stay at her dojo noting that he is peace-loving and not cold-hearted, as his reputation implies to his character. Kenshin accepts and begins to establish lifelong relationships with many persons such as Myōjin Yahiko, an orphan from a samurai family who is also living with Kaoru as her student; Sagara Sanosuke, a former Sekihō Army member; and a doctor named Takani Megumi, caught in the opium trade biz. However, he also deals with his fair share of enemies, new and old from his bloody past. One of them the former head of the Oniwabanshū, Shinomori Aoshi and a rival from the Bakumatsu turned police officer, Saitō Hajime a cunning man.

After several months of living in the dojo life, Kenshin discovers the plot that his successor as assassin of the shadows, Shishio Makoto, plans to conquer Japan by destroying the rulling Meiji Government and starting with Kyoto. From that part the action packed adventure rises to a new level on each turn.

Its based on a true story life of a Samurai. He known as Samurai X because of the “X” mark on his cheek. Although his swordsmanship have versatile styles but his signature finishing move is “The Swords from heaven”. Many of his famous deadly fights happen in forest, bamboo garden & cloudy dark nights. As a warrior his awareness to every little details in the environment where-ever he goes is masterful & his sixth-sense always warn him before any trouble come in his way. He is the perfect example of a man who lives & die by his code of honor to help others above anything that's the Samurai way.
